How to Prevent Battery Terminal Corrosion
Throughout our day, we see a lot of battery terminal corrosion especially on incoming cars. This is a naturally occurring phenomenon under the hoods of all vehicles. If left unchecked, the corrosion can lead to rotted connectors, a lack of contact from the battery to the cars charging system, and a car that wont start!
Our tip is to pop the hood every once and a while to check your oil (you should be doing it anyway). Once the oil dipstick is out, add a drop or two of the excess oil to each battery terminal.
This simple step will prevent battery corrosion and save you money in the long run.
