Our Trip to the La Jolla Concourse
The 2014 La Jolla Concourse D’Elegance was this past weekend at the picturesque La Jolla Shores. This was the 10th year of the Concourse and probably its best one yet.
Almost every make I could expect was represented at the show. Better yet, a pair of classic English luxury vehicles that we care for were also in the show! Last year the same owner’s 1953 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith took the people’s choice award. We store that one, too.
While the sun didn’t poke out while I was there, it made for very comfortable conditions to check out all of the rare and pristine beauties parked on the lawn overlooking the sea. Rarest of which was probably this 1952 Ferrari 212 Barchetta at only 82 production cars ever made.
Other favorites of mine include this 190 slr replica and below it a very cherry 1982 Toyota Celica.
If you are truly a lover of cars, like we are, you won’t want to miss next years exhibition!
