Driving Your Car During Quarantine
This is a good article from the Lifehacker site reminding us all to drive our cars during quarantine …even if just a little bit.
The article recommends driving your car each month for at least 10 miles, above 50mph if possible. That will get the fluids moving and ‘wake the transmission up’.
If you can drive your car regularly, it was eliminate the gamble that you come out to your car after not driving it for 2-3 weeks and have a dead battery, flat tire, or more serious issue.
This dovetails well with what we pride ourselves in doing as we check fluids, tire pressures, keep batteries disconnected, and start cars regularly.
